Purgatory, (aka justification by faith alone)

McVey wide skyscraper.jpg

This is just a short little blurb to highlight the irony of the Protestant doctrine of justification by faith alone.

Justification is the remission of sin.  In Purgatory, those who die in an imperfect state of grace with venial sin on their souls, will, essentially be justified by God.

Our lifetime is the only time when we may merit by cooperating with the grace of God.  When we die, if we go to Purgatory, we will no longer be able to do any works which will perfect our faith.  We will then be purified and made perfect by the cleansing fire of God.  All we will have then is our faith alone.

What say you?

Sincerely,

De Maria
