When St. Elizabeth greets Mary the Mother of Jesus, she says:
Luke 1 43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
I believe she is recognizing that Jesus is God and therefore means Mother of my God.
What do you think she means?

This verses really nailed down that Mary is mother of God.
First Mary herself was carrying God (the second of trinity) and then her cousin Elizabeth inspired by the holly spirit said the word MOTHER OF MY LORD. Indirectly said that God himself (third person in trinity) who proclaim it , for fact that Mary is truly the mother of God . Elisabeth for sure had no idea trinity is . Elizabeth Lord means YAHWE
Incase someone says that she isn't, it just big denial.

DeleteYou are perfectly correct. St. Elizabeth would not have called an infant, Lord, unless she knew something special about Him. Since the Holy Spirit inspired her and the Scripture says that she spoke by the Holy Spirit, she knew exactly who was in Mary's womb. Almighty God!
