This applies to you as well as Israel:On the contrary, that is what the Protestants have done. Claiming to save themselves by faith alone. Thus kicking God out of their lives and crowning themselves with their own power.

Catholics probably don't even know what this means. Approach God with your own "righteousness" (good works, religiosity, etc.) and He sees filthy rags. Approach with the imputed righteousness of Christ that is received by faith alone and only then will He accept you.Show me that from Scripture. Otherwise, read the Word of God:
