Mary's replacement?

Lutero, you said,You are truly a spokesman for God.
Thank you. I do my best. (1 Corinthians 4:3).
You mean to say the God’s sovereign salvation plan would come to a “screeching” halt if Mary refused??

Precisely. If Mary had said, “No.” God would not have gone shopping around for another woman to be mother to His Son.

PLEASE Don’t paint the role of Mary as some gigantic effort on her part when she simply submitted to the will of God with all humility. You are just simply trying to make a mountain of out a mole hill. :)

It takes quite an effort to be humble. It does for me, anyway.  Tell me, since you seem to know, if Mary had said, “No.” Whom did God have lined up to take her place?
Sincerely,
De Maria
