Hi, Happy New Year!I hadn't responded because I hadn't actually tried it. Until today. I couldn't find vermouth either. So I substituted red cooking wine.It was excellent. I made my own vegetable stock and ate the vegetables separately. I topped the vegetables off with shredded Mexican cheese. My wife said that I added a touch too much sugar. And she's normally a sweet tooth. But I enjoyed. Thanks for responding,Sincerely,De Maria
