Scripture says we receive grace through faith

Lutero said:
Scripture says we receive grace through faith.

That is true.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--

Absolutely! That is a Sacramental Teaching. Compare it to Mark 16:16:

Mark 16:16
King James Version (KJV)
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

He that presents himself to the Church for Baptism, believing that Jesus Christ will wash him of his sins, will be saved.

Look at Acts 2:38
Acts 2:38
King James Version (KJV)
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
The RCC has seven sacraments.

That is correct.

And you say that we receive grace through the Sacraments.

Correct.

Baptism, I don't see the word "grace" in there.

Is salvation a grace?

Mark 16:16
King James Version (KJV)
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

1 Peter 3:21
King James Version (KJV)
21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
Once you have provided that, please go on with verses where it says the rest of the sacraments also give GRACE:

Well, let's see:

Confirmation :

Receiving the Holy Ghost is, by definition, a grace.

John 20:22
King James Version (KJV)
22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
Eucharist :

Receiving eternal life, is, by definition, a grace.
John 6:54
King James Version (KJV)
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Penance :

Being reconciled to God, is by definition, a grace.
2 Corinthians 5:17-19
King James Version (KJV)
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Anointing of the Sick :

Being healed body and soul, is by definition, a grace.
James 5:14-19
King James Version (KJV)
14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.
19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;

Holy Orders :

Receiving the gift of speaking the Word of God, prophecy, through the laying on of hands of the Priesthood, is, by definition, a grace:
1 Timothy 4:13-15
King James Version (KJV)
13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
Matrimony :

I'm married. And I know that the love of my wife and children is one of the most wonderful graces I have received. I thank the Lord for the grace of Matrimony!

I hope that helps.

Sincerely,

De Maria
