The vast majority of Catholic Priests are devout Christians doing their duty.

Lutero:

What makes you think that when you tell your sins
to a charlatan, posing as a Catholic priest,
that you will not be in a sinful state any more?

1. That's a loaded question.
2. The vast majority of Catholic Priests are devout Christians doing their duty.
3. God has given the Church the power to forgive sins:

John 20:23

King James Version (KJV)

23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

Did you not read: 'attending ineffective Catholic sacerdotal religious ceremonies'.

There is no such thing. Our religious ceremonies are all united to the LIturgy which Christ commanded us to keep:

1 Corinthians 11:23-25

King James Version (KJV)

23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

And they condemn themselves who presume that they can abstain from keeping it:
Hebrews 10:25-31

King James Version (KJV)

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Sincerely,

De Maria
