God expects you to keep His Commandments.

James 2:10
"For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it."

That is absolutely true. But that doesn't mean we can't keep it. It means we must keep all of it.

De Maria, I'll say it again. Those who are followers of God will want to be obedient to Him. Jesus did reiterate the 10 commandments in the New Testament. He did indeed make new commandments such as loving one another. However, we cannot possibly keep the law perfectly. As scripture says, if you break one you are breaking them all. Which is why Katie Scarlett said that if you follow one you have to follow all perfectly. You cannot follow one perfectly, if that is even possible, and not the other because you are breaking all the law.

Then why does Scripture say:
Luke 1:6

⁶ And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

God knows we cannot keep the commandments.

That is your teaching. Not God's:

1 John 5:3

³ For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

There is no way. We are fallen human beings who sin every single day. Scripture also tells us that through the law came the knowledge of sin. God was preparing us, showing us that even if we follow these commandments, there is no way we will be saved because we cannot possibly keep them...which is why we need a savior. If you want to be saved by God you need Jesus Christ. Plain and simple.

Absolutely! If you want to keep the Commandments and be saved, you need Jesus. No one can keep the Commandment without the grace of God.

This does not mean that we can start killing each other, cheating on our spouses, deceiving others, stealing, etc. God still told us not to do it, but we don't do it because we are already saved and want to be obedient to Him.

Claiming to be saved is not the same as being saved. It is not your call, but God's:
1 Corinthians 4:3-4

³ But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.
⁴ For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.

Those who do not follow His commandment aren't obedient. How can you be obedient and a follower of Christ when Jesus says love one another and you do the opposite? Even if we want to be obedient to Him, we are still going to fail at it. This is why God says there is no salvation through the law. He knows we can't keep it. Thank God he gave us the opportunity to be His children through the blood of Jesus Christ, so that when we do stumble, we will be forgiven when we seek for his forgiveness.

You continue to follow the commandments of men and not of God.

God expects you to keep His Commandments. That is why He gave us His Son in order that by His grace we would be enabled to keep His Commandments. 

Nothing is difficult for God. And with God all things are possible. Therefore, if you love God and are united to Him, do not be afraid of His Commandments. His Commandments are good and true:
Romans 7:12

¹² Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

The Commandments are there to lead us to Christ. And they are not grievous.
