Baptism leaves an indelible mark

PB:On another thread a Catholic said that a satanist if originally baptized in the Catolic Church remains a Catholic even after becoming a devil worshipper.  I guess that would go for an atheist too.  What I don't understand is when a Christian [fully believing Jesus is Saviour and the Son of the living GOD] is excommunicated.  One is denouncing GOD, the Church, everything Jesus taught..  The other is only denouncing the Pope - possibly his authority, teachings from Sacred Tradition [meaning those not fully supported by Scripture], etc.
kb:I agree. Baptism puts an indelible mark on the soul and it can't be undone no matter what one does.
PB:Indelible mark on the satanists soul, but not on the reformers soul?
SW:Beats the devil out of me how they come up these answers.
Beats me how Protestants comprehend the written word.

PB:Indelible mark on the satanists soul, but not on the reformers soul?

KB:On the soul of anyone who receives a Trinitarian Baptism. Catholic, Reformed, Baptist, Lutheran, Independent, Congregational, etc.
PB:OK!  What exactly does this indelible mark do for the satanist?
Have you not read in Scripture?

2 Peter 2:

King James Version (KJV)

19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

Matthew 12:43-45

King James Version (KJV)

43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

Sincerely,

De Maria
