Notice how these folks had not received the Holy Spirit, even though they claimed to believe (Acts 19:1).

#814 Edward Osiecki - Fort Mill, South Carolina
To Juan and ALL, except demon experienced Christopher, who communicates with himself and Debbie, his cheerleader.
ED SAYS,...YET, JUAN, ignores, Paul's teachings in (1Cor. 5:12) "What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? v13 God will judge those outside. "Expel the wicked man from among you."--- When Christopher claims to be saved, he's inside the church, so IT IS my job to judge him accordingly.
On the contrary, Ed. It is we who should expel, you. You are the one who is outside the Church. You are the one who is identified as the heretic. You are the one who is against the Catholic Church and being against the Catholic Church, are against Christ, who established her and sent her into the world to proclaim the Gospel.
Juan, when you take a verse out of its context, you can get the Bible to say anything.
You should know. You do it regularly.
(Mat.27:5) "Judas went and hanged himself." (Luke 10:37) "Go and do likewise," WAKE UP JUAN!
It is you who are like the blind being led by the blind, Protestants. Open your eyes before you fall into that everlasting lake of fire.
ED SAYS, "How dare you accuse me of lying.
Ed, you're lying. Plain and simple.
I gave you the source (Public Broadcasting System,
Is the Public Broadcasting System in Scripture? And yet, you believe them. Therefore you don't go by Scripture alone but by every wind of doctrine and every fable of man made tradition.
where it can be found "The Secrets of the Inquisition." I also have a DVD recorded right from that program its self. Julian Hernandez death for smuggling Bibles is recorded in history. YOU SUPPLIED NOTHING, YET YOU ACCUSE ME OF LYING.
You are deluded by the evil of this world. You are passing along their lies as if you know something. Therefore, yes, you are lying.
ED SAYS, "Another abuse of the Scriptures! Forget (Eph.3:10) and (1Tim.3:15) those Scriptures have nothing to do with what's being said.
They have everything to do with it, Ed. You claim to believe Scripture, but you twist the meaning out of those in order to support your anti-biblical beliefs.
You are using those Scriptures in order to avoid what I'm saying, which is, your Catholic catechism in (#1411) very clearly states that only an ordained priest can change the bread and wine by transubstantiation, which is FALSE!.
It is true, Ed. Here's another Bible verse which you contradict.
John 21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.
Not everything has to be written in the Bible, Ed.
But I know that you don't believe the Bible. I post these verses for the edification of any who do believe the Bible.
Those people in (Acts 2:42-47) just got saved. They then met in their homes, prayed and broke bread which you call the Eucharist,
As the Scripture says:
John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
BUT THERE WERE NO ORDAINED PRIESTS AMONG THEM,
All the Apostles were priests ordained by God and they, in turn, ordained more:
1 Timothy 4:14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
to transubstantiate the elements. So the church that you profess to teach Wisdom is LYING.
So, you contradict the Word of God which says that the Church teaches the Wisdom of God (Eph 3:10).
ED SAID, "If you call the sinful despicable actions of so many of the Popes, the Wisdom of God, it's no wonder you think as you do."
Here you prove that you don't follow Scripture. Because Scripture says that the Church will not fall (Matt 16:18). And Scripture says that the office of Peter will feed His Church (John 21:17). And that Peter will strengthen His brethren:
Luke 22:30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
But again, you prove that you don't believe the Word of God.
ED SAYS," They list only the TEN WORST ONES, I refrain from posting them in order not to embarrass you and others by what they have done."
What they have "allegedly" done. Were you there and did you see them do anything? No. But you believe these stories. Therefore, you have allied yourself with the enemy of Christ's Church. And you have proven that you don't follow Scripture at all, much less Scripture alone, since you obey the traditions of men and wild fables of the enemies of Christ's Church.
ED SAYS, "That's blasphemy!
You are the one blaspheming. It is you who does not believe the Holy Spirit can do anything anymore. It is you who deny God's power to work through His Church, the men of the Church and through water.
Priest's word brings about absolutely NOTHING! There aren't any ordained priests mentioned in the New Testament, NONE! God's earthly priesthood system ended with Jesus at the cross. The Temple's curtain, the entrance to the Most Holy Place, ripped in two (Luke 23:45) indicating the end of the priesthood system
Indicating the end of the Old Covenant. But remember that Moses established his system based upon that which he saw upon the Mountain:
Hebrews 8:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
And upon the Mountain, he saw the heavenly Jerusalem which has priests. That is why the Old Covenant has priests. Therefore, the new Jerusalem which is the Catholic Church, also has priests. Because the new Jerusalem is joined to the heavenly Jerusalem:
Hebrews 12:21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:) 22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
ED SAYS, "the washing of the water, is not literal water. It's a metaphor, there's no actual water involved in that Scripture.
It is real water which signifies and brings about the washing of the Holy Spirit in our soul.
ED SAYS, " Here's Juan, LYING AGAIN, claiming that I deliberately left out a verse to deceive. That episode starts with verse 17 and ends with verse 19, exactly what I have posted above.
It ends with v. 18, which you left out.
ED CONT. "He then was water baptized to show his repentance by confessing away his sins.
Scripture interprets Scripture, Ed.
Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
He was baptized in order that his sins would be washed away. Baptism by water brings about the washing of the Holy Spirit.
ED SAYS, "That came out of your HEAD, there is NO Scripture to support that statement.
Baptism means "to wash". Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
But here's my Scripture proof, John the Baptist was baptizing (Mat.3:5-6) people came from that whole region, v6 "Confessing their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan River."
Here's how you are disproved:
Acts 19:1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, 2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
Notice how these folks had not received the Holy Spirit, even though they claimed to believe. That disproves your doctrine. It is not by faith alone.
3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
St. Paul mused that it is true that St. John's baptism was unto repentance. But St. John's baptism was not effective for bringing about the gift of the Holy Spirit.
So, here we have two baptisms. The Baptism of John, which was not according to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And the Baptism of Jesus, which is according to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. John's baptism of water did not bring about the baptism of the Holy Spirit in the heart. But Christ's baptism, did and continues to do so.
5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
Now, this probably confuses you. What St. Paul did here is to give them two Sacraments. He baptized them and confirmed them at the same time. The way we do today to those who undergo RCIA. They receive the Holy Spirit in both Sacraments.
ED SAID, "Paul's sins were already forgiven and atoned for by his belief in Jesus when he called Jesus Lord. He was saved and forgiven before He even got near any water to be baptized.
No, Ed. See above. Belief alone does not bring about the forgiveness of sins nor the gift of the Holy Spirit. One must be baptized into Christ.
ED SAYS, " Another LIE coming from your own HEAD. Here's my Scripture proof. When Jesus called Paul and knocked him down, (Acts 9:4-5) and said, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me" v5 "who are you *LORD*? Saul asked.---- Paul In (1Cor.12:3) says, "no one can say, 'Jesus is *LORD*' except by the Holy Spirit."
What does this say, Ed?
Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Those men called Jesus, Lord. And it is only by the Holy Spirit that one can call Jesus, Lord. Now, you claim to know Scripture, what happened to them?
When Paul called Jesus *LORD* he was saved, his sins were forgiven, he had received the Holy Spirit by simply belief in Jesus and by calling Him *LORD*.
We've gone through this. Simply calling Jesus, Lord, does not save. Answer the question I asked above. What happened t those men who called Jesus, Lord? (Matt 7:21).
Jesus wasn't concerned about Paul's sins, Jesus said to Saul (Acts 9:6), "Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do."
What was he told to do?
Acts 22:12 And one Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there, 13 Came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him. 14 And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth. 15 For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.
16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
Saul/Paul was predestined before he was even born (Rom.8:29), "For those God forknew he also PREDESTINED to be conformed to the likeness of His Son.
So, God isn't all knowing? Does God only foreknow some, but not others? Who is made in the image of God?
Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: ....
When Paul went to see Ananias (9:17-19) He went there to be healed (scales fell off his eyes) and to be Baptized (Filled) with the Holy Spirit by Ananias' laying of his hands on Paul, and to receive the gift of tongues. In (Acts 26:16-18) Paul gives an account how he was being commissioned. AND YOU SAY THAT HE WOULD HAVE BEEN LOST?????? YOU ARE A FALSE PROPHET! When you show no Scripture proof of what you say.
If he had refused to be baptized, he would have been lost. I have shown you the Scripture, again and again. You reject it as do your Protestant brethren:
Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
ED SAYS, "It very clearly says, that Christ would have to SUFFER. That's what He did ONCE and FOR ALL.
Thank you! The sacrifice which He offered once, we participate in that one sacrifice TODAY.
ED SAYS, "The word sacrifice shouldn't be mentioned with the breaking of bread which you call the Eucharist.
It is the Sacrifice of Thanksgiving which Melchizedek prefigured many centuries prior:
Genesis 14:17 And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king's dale. 18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. 19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:
Genesis 31:54 Then Jacob offered sacrifice upon the mount, and called his brethren to eat bread: and they did eat bread, and tarried all night in the mount.
Leviticus 7:12 If he offer it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour, fried.
The living Bible in (1Cor.10:14-16) states, "So, dear friends, carefully avoid idol-worship of every kind" Which is what you are doing when you make the Host an idol and place it into a monstrance and genuflect to it.

15 You are intelligent people. Look now and see for yourselves whether what I am about to say is true. 16 When we ask the Lord’s blessing upon our drinking from the cup of wine at the Lord’s Table, this means, doesn’t it, that all who drink it are sharing together the blessing of Christ’s blood? And when we break off pieces of the bread from the loaf to eat there together, this shows that we are sharing together in the benefits of his body. 17 No matter how many of us there are, we all eat from the same loaf, showing that we are all parts of the one body of Christ. 18 And the Jewish people, all who eat the sacrifices, are united by that act.
19 What am I trying to say? Am I saying that the idols to whom the heathen bring sacrifices are really alive and are real gods, and that these sacrifices are of some value? No, not at all. 20 What I am saying is that those who offer food to these idols are united together in sacrificing to demons, certainly not to God. And I don’t want any of you to be partners with demons when you eat the same food, along with the heathen, that has been offered to these idols. 21 You cannot drink from the cup at the Lord’s Table and at Satan’s table, too. You cannot eat bread both at the Lord’s Table and at Satan’s table.
St. Paul is distinguishing between the idol worship of the pagans and the true worship of the Eucharist in the Catholic Church.
The 2nd Commandment prohibits idols and bowing down to them.
True.
v16 "When we ask the Lord's blessing upon our drinking from the cup of wine at the Lord's table, this means, doesn't it, that all who dink it are sharing together the blessing of Christ's Blood? And when we break off pieces of the bread from the loaf to eat there together, this shows that we are sharing together in the benefits of His body."

23 You are certainly free to eat food offered to idols if you want to; it’s not against God’s laws to eat such meat, but that doesn’t mean that you should go ahead and do it.
Nothing will happen to you, good or bad, if you eat the meat offered to idols. But now keep reading:
23 For this is what the Lord himself has said about his Table, and I have passed it on to you before: That on the night when Judas betrayed him, the Lord Jesus took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks to God for it, he broke it and gave it to his disciples and said, “Take this and eat it. This is my body, which is given[e] for you. Do this to remember me.” 25 In the same way, he took the cup of wine after supper, saying, “This cup is the new agreement between God and you that has been established and set in motion by my blood. Do this in remembrance of me whenever you drink it.” 26 For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup you are retelling the message of the Lord’s death, that he has died for you. Do this until he comes again.
27 So if anyone eats this bread and drinks from this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, he is guilty of sin against the body and the blood of the Lord. 28 That is why a man should examine himself carefully before eating the bread and drinking from the cup. 29 For if he eats the bread and drinks from the cup unworthily, not thinking about the body of Christ and what it means, he is eating and drinking God’s judgment upon himself; for he is trifling with the death of Christ.
If the bread and cup were mere idol worship, nothing would happen to us. That is according to the Teaching of Scripture. But it is the true Body and true Blood of Christ. Those who partake of this Sacrament but do not believe in it, will die because they have blasphemed the Body of Christ and the Blood which sanctified them.
But, now, what will happen to those, who like all Protestants, refuse to partake even in the celebration of the Eucharist? Let's go to another book for that answer:
Hebrews 10:21 And since this great High Priest of ours rules over God’s household, 22 let us go right in to God himself, with true hearts fully trusting him to receive us because we have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean and because our bodies have been washed with pure water.
Oh look! A description of baptism which says that when we are washed with pure water we are actually washed in Christ's blood. Hm. I'd better file this one in my memory banks.
But I actually wanted to show you what follows:
25 Let us not neglect our church meetings,
We call that the Mass. He says, don't neglect to meet together for the Mass. Why? He'll tell us next.
as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near.
26 If anyone sins deliberately by rejecting the Savior after knowing the truth of forgiveness, this sin is not covered by Christ’s death; there is no way to get rid of it.
Because neglecting to meet together for the Mass is the same thing as rejecting Christ's sacrifice. It amounts to a deliberate sin against Christ.
This is why missing the Mass is considered a mortal sin in the Catholic Church. Now, you see that you reject the Mass, wilfully and therefore, can you be saved? It is a very grave sin.
27 There will be nothing to look forward to but the terrible punishment of God’s awful anger, which will consume all his enemies.
Those who miss the Mass are considered God's enemies.
28 A man who refused to obey the laws given by Moses was killed without mercy if there were two or three witnesses to his sin. 29 Think how much more terrible the punishment will be for those who have trampled underfoot the Son of God and treated his cleansing blood as though it were common and unhallowed,
Why is missing the Mass considered to be a trampling underfoot of the Son of God? Why is it considered to be an insult to the cleansing blood of Christ?
Let's go back to 1 Cor 11:27 So if anyone eats this bread and drinks from this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, he is guilty of sin against the body and the blood of the Lord. 30 That is why many of you are weak and sick, and some have even died.
and insulted and outraged the Holy Spirit who brings God’s mercy to his people.
It is such a wicked sin that St. Paul equates it with the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit:
Mark 3:28 “I solemnly declare that any sin of man can be forgiven, even blasphemy against me; 29 but blasphemy against the Holy Spirit can never be forgiven. It is an eternal sin.”
You might want to go search for another Bible that doesn't teach Catholic Doctrine, Bucky. This one convicts you of blasphemy.
30 For we know him who said, “Justice belongs to me; I will repay them”; who also said, “The Lord himself will handle these cases.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Mhm. Yep. This bible convicts you and all Protestants. Maybe you can find another more to your liking. One that Protestants have totally rewritten to mean something totally different than what Christ teaches. This one Teaches Catholic Doctrine.

  1. That was a very interesting dialogue and one of the longest debates posted on the forum. I see that Edward has left the site, at least he claims to have said "GOODBYE FOREVER". Oh well.

Funny thing was how he claimed that the Catholic Church added he word "again" to John's passage, yet failed to recognize (or deliberately skipped) the word "anew". Even using Ed's preferred Bible for reading, the Living Bible, the word "anew" has been translated to "again".

How and what makes people so blind to the Truth of Christ's words?
    ANSWER: Pride.

    God Bless and great defense!

    1. Thanks! I couldn't post, there at the end. I tried and tried. I hope I wasn't blocked. But that website seems to have some programmed filter which, I guess, no one actually checks for errors.

I'll probably post my response here, just to get it off my chest.

Pride is right. I'm glad Ed finally left. I don't know what makes people like him tick. It certainly isn't a desire for honest and civil dialogue. He admitted several times that he enjoyed baiting Catholics into arguments.

      Thanks for your reply.
