What is your excuse for casting the Church aside?

Who does this for you? You yourself?

How can you ask such an inane question? Have you not read the very words of Jesus to His believers: "... but you're advocate the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and will call to mind all that I have told you."

Do you pick and choose your Scriptures? Do you pit one Scripture against another? For Scripture says:

Hebrews 13:7

⁷ Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

Hebrews 13:17

¹⁷ Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

Correlating the Scriptures, it is obvious that God is telling us that He will teach us through the Church and through other believers:

Romans 10:14

¹⁴ How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

what is your excuse for casting the Church aside?
