Peculiar doctrines

Lutero
As you well know, all the peculiar doctrines of RCism are no where to be found in the Bible, so who in the world do you think you're kidding?
On the contrary, it is Protestant doctrine which contradicts Scripture.

Jesus Christ did not come into this world to die a horrific death, only to have us be justified before God by a religious ritual that dunks us in water!
It is Jesus Christ who said:
Mark 16:16
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

But you would rather deny our Lord's words.

Hitler was baptised in the RCC and look where it got him!
Jesus Christ did not teach OSAS. He said:
Matthew 7:21
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

So glad you quoted that, that we might see you put your foot in your mouth yet again.
Ummmmm, since you agree we are not saved by any works of righteousness which we might do, you will be shocked to learn that Jesus called baptism a work of righteousness in Matt 3:15!
You keep twisting Scripture in order to deny it.
1. Jesus did not say that His baptism was a work of anyone's righteousness.
2. Jesus said that John's baptism was a work of righteousness.
3. The Baptism of Jesus is a work of God. It is God who works and washes our souls in the Baptism established by Jesus Christ. That is why St. Paul said:
Acts 19:3-5

King James Version (KJV)

3And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
4Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
5When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

But of our Lord's Baptism, Scripture says:
Acts 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

And again:
Titus 3:5
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy hesaved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Hence, the logic is irrefutable; we are not saved by any works of righteousness, including baptism!
We are not saved by any works of righteousness, including the Baptism of John. But the Baptism of Jesus, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, is the work of God's mercy.

Now wasn't that easy?
Easy to refute.

Having now realized the error of your ways, when may we expect you to ditch the lies of the RCC and come to the true Christ of Scripture and Creator of all things?
It is you who should ditch the error of the Reformers' ways. The Catholic Church is the Pillar of Truth, the true Church of Jesus Christ. Who ever does not gather with her, scatters.

Sincerely,

De Maria
