You know the more I thought about that question the more deceptive it is.

Luther said:
You know the more I thought about that question the more deceptive it is.
Hab 2:4; Joh 3:36; Ga 3:11; Php 3:9; Heb 10:38; 11:6-7
The point IS the OBJECT of that FAITH.
Very good Luther. The OBJECT OF THAT FAITH. Christ is the Object of our faith. But there is a difference in your faith and ours. Yours is "faith ALONE". But what does Scripture say:
James 2:24
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

So, according to Scripture, faith ALONE is not faith in Christ.

We also claim to have faith. And we do our best to demonstrate our faith in our works. What does Scripture say about that?
James 2:18
Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

So, according to Scripture, faith demonstrated in works is faith in Christ.

The fact that we are saved by grace through FAITH ALONE IN the ONLY ONE who can save us from the consequences of our sins, which is the death penalty of eternal separation from GOD in hell.
But see, the only way you get to that is by adding to Scripture the word "alone". Scripture doesn't say, by grace through faith ALONE. Scripture says by grace through faith. And the only way to determine if you have true faith is if by doing works of love.
Galatians 5:6

King James Version (KJV)

6For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

But you and the rest of the Protestants claim that works are not necessary. Whereas, Scripture says that works of love are equivalent to keeping the Commandments.
1 Corinthians 7:19

King James Version (KJV)

19Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

And of course, Scripture says that those who love Christ, keep the Commandments:John 14:15
If ye love mekeep my commandments.

Whereas, you and the rest of the Protestants claim it is not necessary to keep the Commandments.

And Scripture says that it is necessary to obey Christ:
Hebrews 5:9
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that
obey him;

But you and the rest of the Protestants say it is not necessary to obey Christ. In fact, Scripture says that those who do not obey Christ DO NOT LOVE CHRIST:
John 14:23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

So what does that say about your love for Christ when you deny that you have to obey Him and claim that your faith ALONE is enough?

There has to be an OBJECT of our faith. For those who trust in CHRIST for their salvation IT IS FAITH IN HIM ALONE.
See, there you go mangling Scripture again. Because Scripture says that if you have faith in Christ, you will obey His Church and the rulers which He put over you. Therefore, if you have faith in Christ, you have faith in His Church:
Hebrews 13:17
Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

1 Corinthians 11:1
Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

Hebrews 6:12
That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

For the Roman Catholic, it is the church,
1 Timothy 3:15
But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

and works
The object of our faith is Christ. And because we have faith in Christ, we believe Him when He says:
Matthew 19:17
And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
and sacraments,
Again, the object of our faith is Christ. Therefore we believe Him when He says:
Mark 16:16
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

and the flavor of the day pope,
The object of our faith is Christ. Therefore we believe Him when He said:
Matthew 16:17-19

King James Version (KJV)

17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

and that blond shiksah demon they call Mary.
The object of our faith is Christ. Therefore we love His Mother. And we obey the Word of God which said:
Luke 1:48
For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

But you are saved by your faith ALONE. Claiming to have faith you deny all His words. Scripture says:
John 14:15
If ye love mekeep my commandments.

But you say, it isn't necessary or even possible to keep the commandments. Thereby showing how much you love Christ.

Silly question. Initially and in brief? 1. He draws us by His Spirit. 2. He gave us the LAW to show us we can't keep it. 3. And that same LAW HE GAVE was to direct our eyes to HIS salvation IN THE REDEEMER HE would send to die IN OUR PLACE.
Case in point. Christ says, those who love me keep my commandments. You say, "...we can't...." Obviously, not even bothering to try.

Since it is God that worketh in us both to will and to do HIS GOOD PLEASURE, what do you think HE does?
He enables us to keep His Commandments:
Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Eph 2:8 (KJV) For by grace are ye saved (Who's grace?) it is the gift of God:
and that not of yourselves: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. (so what do we do?) through faith; (In what or who do we put this faith?) JESUS CHRIST
AND when we have accepted that GIFT OF GOD by FAITH, what does GOD DO?
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Faith is proven by works. Nowhere does that verse say, "by faith ALONE". You pretend it is there, but it isn't.

8. The subject is God's grace, what is wrapped in that gift, 9. how we obtain that grace, when it is accepted by faith,
A faith which is proven in works of love.

10. what the benefit of that gift is and the final outcome of that gift.
God is faithful to His promises.

No matter what the word order the meaning is the same, the object of our FAITH is JESUS CHRIST ALONE.
The word order doesn't matter. But the addition of words is not a changing of the ordering of the words. It is ADDING to the word of God that which is not there and not intended by God. It is mangling His word.

We are saved by GRACE ALONE, through FAITH ALONE in CHRIST ALONE,
ALONE is not in the Scripture. Here is the Scripture:
Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

For GOD'S GLORY ALONE. And we learn all this in THE SCRIPTURES ALONE.
On the contrary, you learn what Scripture says by listening to the Church. Above you have proven how you mangle Scripture when you don't listen to the Church.

No history book, secular book or any other book is going to show you the TRUE way of salvation in JESUS CHRIST.

But the Catholic Church does.

Ephesians 3:10

King James Version (KJV)
10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
Sincerely,

De Maria

  1. Luther, you don't mock Mary please. She is Jesus mother, have you ever thought about Jesus feeling when when you mocked His mother. How about others mocked your mother, don't you up set?.
I am the only one catholic in my whole family but my family always respect Mary.
