Protestants, you can't justify your disdain of Mary from Scripture.

Lutero said:
Try as you may, you cannot justify your prayers to Mary by God's teachings.

On the contrary, you can't justify your disdain of Mary from Scripture. Scripture is clear that God wants us to pray to her. Otherwise, why did He make her our spiritual mother?

Revelation 12:17
King James Version (KJV)17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Why did He giver her to us that we might take her to our homes?
John 19:27
King James Version (KJV)27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

Why did He praise her by the mouths of His angel and Saint?
Luke 1:28And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
Luke 1:42And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, andblessed is the fruit of thy womb.

If it wasn't to give us an example to follow.

The Catholic Church has always taught the imitation of Christ. And the Catholic Church, led by the Holy Spirit, reads the depths of God's Word. Jesus Christ came as the Son of Mary in order that we would also become children of Mary. That is the lesson of Scripture. Mary was not simply discarded after she was used, as Protestants seem to believe. As though God were some sort of pimp, using women and discarding them.

So instead, you vainly attempt to present a philosophical argument, which to the Roman Catholic way of thinking makes your 'pre-decided' actions sort of sound plausible.

And what are your actions if not pre decided. You simply have decided to follow the inventors of new religions which fall under the general category of Protestantism. You will believe anything which contradicts the Teachings of the Church which Scripture calls the Pillar and Foundation of the Truth (1 Tim 3:15).

The claim of Roman Catholicism is that you are not worshiping Mary, you're "just praying to her." LOL!- your own statements are a contradiction. The word for prayer, in Greek, is proseuchomai.

But we aren't speaking Greek, are we? We are speaking English. And to pray ALSO means to ask for something. It does not strictly mean a form of worship.

To beseech or to ask favors of God is what that word 'prayer' means. Therefore, to pray to Mary is to treat her as a deity, by implication.
If that is what you believe, then don't pray to Mary and refrain from asking anyone to pray for you. Because by your own definition, when you ask favors of someone, you are worshipping them like you would a god.

Sincerely,

De Maria
