If no one keeps the Commandments, Christ truly did die in vain

FH:They were righteous by faith as are all of His sheep....walking in the commandments and ordinances didn't make them righteous....
That is a false dichotomy. They kept the Commandments because of their faith. That means they were justified, (i.e. imputed righteous) because of their faith AND WORKS (i.e. keeping the Commandments).

No kidding......and no one repetents until God grants them repentance....
That is Catholic Teaching.

doesn't negate the fact that salvation of a SINNER is by grace through faith,
But not by faith ALONE.

not by them keeping the law.
Scripture is clear:
Romans 2:13
(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

James 2:24

King James Version (KJV)

24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

No one keeps the commandments....otherwise Christ died in vain.
If no one keeps the Commandments, then Christ truly died in vain. Christ died in order that those who believe in Him might be saved by keeping the Commandments and thus uniting themselves with Him in love:
John 14:21

King James Version (KJV)

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

The righteous are sinners....
Repentant sinners.

are you now sinless?
God knows.

Wrong.....it is is THE SAVED who obey...they CAN'T begin to do so until they are saved....
Scripture says:
Hebrews 5:9
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
If you want to turn God's word topsy turvy, you have received your reward.

this is how little you know of what it means to be a new creation in Christ.
A new creation in Christ obeys His Will:
1 Corinthians 7:19
Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

Galatians 5:6
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Galatians 6:15
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

You already said it did.
I said that God saves those who keep the Law. Big difference.

Nope, God saved by grace through faith....not by keeping the law....you need some serious theology lessons, because you have no discernment of God's word whatsoever.

You need to read the Bible with understanding:
Romans 2:13
(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

The law never saved a soul and never will....
but God saves those who keep the Law and condemns those who do not.

nor was it meant to....it is our tutor....salvation is by grace through faith...
But not by faith alone.

Establish means to hold up, it doesn't mean we are able to keep it....
Yeah, it does, by God's grace, we are able to keep the Law.

That is a bold faced lie....we ALWAYS say that faith produces good works, and those works evidence our faith/salvation.....
That is the Catholic Teaching of faith and works which Protestants reject.

God doesn't grant His children dead faith.
Therefore only those who have faith accompanied by works are saved. Because faith ALONE is dead:
James 2:17
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Yet you can't refute me.
Just did.

Yes, that you have no scriptural discernment.
The reader can decide for himself.

Nope....works justify no one in His sight....Catholics love having Scripture contradict itself.
But God justifies those who do the works of the Law (Rom 2:13).

You listen to those whom you THINK God put over you to rule over your soul....all the while, they are sending millions to hell in a handbasket....preaching another gospel just as you are.
On the contrary, your unwilingness to obey anyone but your own understanding of the Scripture shows that you are preaching your own version of the Gospel:

Hebrews 13:7-17

King James Version (KJV)

Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

He also said be aware of wolves in sheeps clothing...be aware of false teachers who lead many astray...as does your apostate religious organization.
The apostate wolves in sheep's clothing are the Protestants.

I never said a word about reading hearts....read for comprehension DeMaria.
But you implied you could tell who has faith.

No one said otherwise....I said you are SHOWING the entire internet world how you have no Scriptural discernment....as you just did.
I think you are the one who has done that before the internet community.

Sincerely,

De Maria

  1. So, I guess when St. Paul tells us to "work out our faith with fear and trembling" he was just joking with us? Oh my..

It's no wonder Protestants keep making more churches and jumping from one to another. They need to find a place that suits their beliefs instead of obeying what Christ commanded.

    Great defense De Maria.
