If you don't keep the Commandments, how do you claim to know that you have eternal life?

PG:Not replacing, but rather agreeing with God's judgment.
Eph 5:17 Wherefore be ye not unwisebut understanding what the will of the Lord is.
1John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Then, what happened to keeping the Commandments? Did you leave that out on purpose?

1 John 5:1-7
King James Version (KJV)
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Do you keep the Commandments? If you don't, how do you claim to know that you have eternal life?

That's in regards to our daily walk, not in regards to eternal destiny.
If you don't walk with Christ daily, how do you think you will be with Him eternally?
Luke 9:23
King James Version (KJV)
23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Matthew 10:38
King James Version (KJV)
38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

Sincerely,

De Maria
