No one is saved who does not obey God

I didn't say that salvation was of works. Nor does the Church teach that. Nor does Scripture say it. But Scripture and the Catholic Church both teach that no one is saved who does not obey God.

DS:This is one of the many examples of Catholic double speak or speaking out of both sides of their mouths. Oh we don't believe salvation is of works or we work for it.....but......but.....you can't be saved unless you do works. Duhhhh. Make up you mind. God isn't the author if the confusion we find in Catholicism.

I don't understand why you can't understand such a simple concept.

1. salvation is not by works

We don't save ourselves. God saves us.

2. justification is not by works

We don't justify ourselves. God justifies us.

3. But God does not justify or save those who do not obey Him and keep His Commandments.
