Old Fashioned never goes out of style

I was talking to a co-worker the other day and she shared something with me.  She said her new boyfriend broke up with her because she is a good girl,  I was outraged.  It seems that the majority seems to think that you cannot have a relationship without having sex. I told her that young man was not worthy of her.  I still believe there are men and women in this world who believe in God and his word.  It seems we have lost our way.  Fornication is a sin.  If anyone out there thinks that having sex outside of wedlock is old fashioned, the word of God, the Bible, is never old fashioned.

I hadn't thought of this before, but I remember one of my friends telling me a similar story regarding her son.  Apparently when her son went off to college he met a girl he liked but when he told her he didn't want to have sex outside of wedlock her response was, "What's the point in dating?"

After reflecting on this whole thing, I wonder how we can solve this problem.  Throughout history, Christian men and women have abstained from sex.  Sex is to create life, which is why it was once called "making love".  Giving and sharing yourself with someone is a very special thing.  God knows all and he may have given us free will but he also set boundaries.  Look at the problems we create from wanton sex:   abortion, birth control, orphans, abused children, pornography, human trafficking, AIDS and  other diseases, the list goes on but I'm sure you get the point.
