Everyone who dies in Christ is alive in Christ

Well for me its because you are asking people who have died in body to pray for you, most of us just ask in person a friend or family member that is alive here on eath to remember us in their prayers. You have no idea who you are asking to intercede for you or who you pray to to intercede for you. There is a big difference.
