Evolution isn't really a science anyway. It's a theory and unproven theory at that. Those who are pushing for it's acceptance do so to discredit God and to wipe Him out of human culture. Sadly many Christians and Catholics have fallen for this fake science and aiding in helping the atheists to remove God from all aspects of society. Then there would be no grounds to stop abortions or killing because those who doubted God's word and fell for man's "science" helped atheists wipe God out.

The majority of early fathers agreed that Genesis is to be interpreted literally. They believed God created the world/universe in six 24 hour days and in a young earth. Amazing how Catholics dis their own Church authorities.

I don't know what you're talking about. Can you provide details? Because I see no infallible doctrines about the science of creation in the writings of the Church. In fact, the Church has left us free to believe that the earth was created in 6 days, or in millions of years. 

So, if you want to claim that those Catholics who believe in an old earth are disobeying the Church, you will need to provide the proof.
