You're referring to "Roman"? The term Roman Catholic Church was originally a pejorative the Reformers used to insinuate that the Catholic Church was only the Church of Rome. However, the term has become accepted even by many Catholics. It is not, however, the official name of the Catholic Church.

Romans 5:9These are all references to the Sacraments.

Galatians 2:16This last verse contrasts THE faith of Christ with the works of the law. The faith of Christ is Christianity which includes the rites which Jesus established, the Sacraments. The Sacraments are the Works of God. We are now saved by the Sacraments and not by the works of the Law.
King James Version (KJV)16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
