What does Scripture say?
JS:In other words, God is our HELPER. God gives to us the stuff we need to save ourselves. As one of my Catholic teachers defined it, "it's the gas that enables you to get where you need to go." So, God is not the Savior but the Enabler, the Helper.
Genesis 4924 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel
25 Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:
26 The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.
2 Chronicles 1411 And Asa cried unto the Lord his God, and said, Lord, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O Lord our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O Lord, thou art our God; let no man prevail against thee.
But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
It is the Scriptures which say that God is our Helper and you deny it and ridicule the teaching of the Word of God.
