Did Jesus abolish God's laws?

Lutero asks:
In another debate someone said:Jesus abolished all ceremonial and sacrificial law.

Questions for debate:
Did Jesus ever make any claim that any of God's laws were to be abolished?

Yes.

Matthew 5:18
King James Version (KJV)
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

All was fulfilled when He died on the Cross:

Hebrews 9:15-17King James Version (KJV)15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

Quote:
Did Jesus make a distinction between ceremonial, sacrificial and others of God's laws?
Jesus, being a practicing Jew, knew the entire law.

Quote:
How does one differentiate between ceremonial and sacrificial laws and any other of the laws?
I don't know what you are talking about. The difference is explained in the Scriptures.

Quote:
Which Old Testament Laws are Christians bound to observe and which ones can they safely ignore?
They are bound to obey the Ten Commandments.
Quote:
How do you know?

By the Teaching of the Church in Tradition and Scripture.
Quote:
For the purposes of this debate, we may not assume that the teachings of Paul were necessarily in accord with the teachings of Jesus.

You can assume what you want. But that assumption is false. St. Paul was a Christian and his teachings are in complete accord with the Teachings of Jesus Christ.

Sincerely,

De Maria
