I am a little confused about your witness.... you first say...
1."I was not Catholic when I began to study the Christian faith."

then you say
2. "It was only when I returned to Catholicism"

How can you return to something you never where a part of?

I didn't say I was never a part of Catholicism. I was baptized and confirmed a Catholic when I was 6 months old. I became atheist around my 13th birthday. I returned to Christ around my 25th birthday and to Catholicism about my 27th.
