You just proved the dog hunts

BL:How many times catholics cite James 2:18, it does not, nor never has, teach that works are essential for salvation. Works are only an outward demonstration of an inward faith. Give it a rest because that dog won't hunt.
You just proved the dog hunts and very well.

We are only justified by genuine inward faith. God is not fooled by outward claims of faith alone. Without the accompanying works which demonstrate inward faith, faith does not save. Read St. James again:

James 2:14

King James Version (KJV)

14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

Sincerely,

De Maria

  1. Perhaps BL doesn't realize the "dog don't hunt" is because the dog already has his teeth sunk into his prey and won't let go. Therefore the dog doesn't need to hunt because it already found its kill and the "kill" is still in its death-throws.

    God Bless ya De Maria!
