The Apostles say it is the Gospel:

NO, it is NOT the gospel no matter how many times you repeat it is. You have shown clearly that you're totally clueless to what the gospel is. God saves those who come to Jesus Christ and believe on Him. You're an expert at disecting the Scriptures and making them say what you want and you totally miss the big picture and the true gospel. God says those who bring a different gospel are accursed.
The Apostles say it is the Gospel:

1 John 5

King James Version (KJV)
1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

    Looks like you have one of those hard heads, De Maria. I sure would like to see one of these guys write in to Dr. David Anders, or David Armstrong, or Tim Staples, or Steve Ray's, or any other Catholic Apologist blog and debate these issues.

    I find it rather telling that the anti-Catholics all hang out in the same den but don't want to venture into the lion's den to hear the truth.

    Pretty amazing that all that bloodshed, all that suffering, all that sacrifice, and all those books written that compile what we know to be The Holy Bible all comes down to one simple message: "Believe in Jesus Christ and you are saved!".

    But what does it mean to "believe"? What makes a person believe their Mother or their Father, or their Boss?

    Huh...a simple mental exercise is all that is required and here I thought we had to worry about our salvation. I guess not.

    I think its a matter of grace, Mark. I can't understand how otherwise reasonable people can be so vehemently opposed to such a simple and reasonable teaching.
