but you only say that because your pope invented a sin.
Your pope did not invent the sin of theft or false witness or adultery, so the reality is that on this thread we are not discussing an invented sin. I am saying that the anti-contraception teaching of the Roman Catholic Church is to morally control people as a result of inventing a sin, and thereby snoop on its adherents. The pope wants to know what they are doing.
Genesis 38:7-10
King James Version (KJV)
7 And Er, Judah's firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the Lord; and the Lord slew him.
8 And Judah said unto Onan, Go in unto thy brother's wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to thy brother.
9 And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother.
10 And the thing which he did displeased theLord: wherefore he slew him also.
Contraception displeases the Lord. Therefore it is a sin against God.
Sincerely,
De Maria
Protestants will use this very passage to claim that God slew Onan because he didn't obey his Father's command and follow custom. I think that is stretching it a bit.
ReplyDeleteI find it funny too that they believe the Pope invented the sin of contraception.
