Is Mary the Mother of God?

Here's what I say:

Jesus is God.

Mary is His Mother.
Therefore, Mary is the Mother of God.

We can say it a bit differently as well:

Jesus is God the Second Person of the Holy Trinity.
Mary is His Mother.
Therefore, Mary is the Mother of God the Second Person of the Holy Trinity.
