Lutero said:
And hence you confess you have NO FAITH.
Heb 11:6 "And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him."
When we come to God through Jesus, we must believe that God is who He says He is and that He rewards those who seek Him.
Heb 7:25 "Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them."
Those who have drawn near to God through Jesus, Scripture assures us that Jesus is able to save them to the UTTERMOST. IF you have come to the Father through Jesus, you must believe and have FAITH that He will do what He said He would do.
Excellent! You have just described the Sacraments!
We draw near to God through Christ in the Sacraments, wherein we are washed by water and the Word. Those who believe are saved, those who don't are condemned (Mark 16:16).
You go right ahead, hope in yourself and declare yourself saved all you want. We will continue to await the Judgement of all mighty God, in whom we rest all our hope.
But all of us, including you, will stand before the Judgment seat of Christ:
Who are you to judge? First take the mote out of your eye and work out your salvation:
And stop counseling people to go against the Word of God by advising they follow the heretical teachings of the Protestants, such as faith alone:
Sincerely,
De Maria
It is NOT humility to declare "that you cannot know that you are saved until you have died." YOU (rhetorical you) THINKS it is humility, but it is not.
It is not humility to declare yourself saved without awaiting the Judgment of all mighty God:
1 Corinthians 4:2-4
King James Version (KJV)2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.4 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
You go right ahead, hope in yourself and declare yourself saved all you want. We will continue to await the Judgement of all mighty God, in whom we rest all our hope.
It is a declaration of your complete lack of faith that God is Who He says He is and that He rewards those who seek Him. It is a declaration of your complete lack of faith that Jesus is able to save you to the uttermost. On the contrary, it is a declaration of complete faith in Christ. That is why we await Him. Whereas you cast Him aside and rest in your own proclamation of faith ALONE.
Rom 5: 1 "Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoiced in hope of the glory of God. 6 For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— 8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. 11 More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.AMEN! Through the Sacrament of Reconciliation, we are reunited with our Lord. Through the Sacraments, we walk on Mt. Sion with the Saints:
Hebrews 12:21-23
King James Version (KJV)21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
But all of us, including you, will stand before the Judgment seat of Christ:
Romans 14:10But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
If YOU have faith, you will do the works which God prepared from the beginning. Because unless you do those works, you will not be saved:
God showed His love for us WHILE WE WERE STILL SINNERS by sending Jesus to die for us. Jesus told us “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”
If you have faith - then you believe that Jesus is Who He said He was and that He is able to do what He said He would do.
If you have faith - then you believe that through Jesus you have drawn near to God.
If you have faith - then you believe that we have peace with God through Jesus Christ.
If you have faith - then you believe that Jesus is able to save you to the uttermost.
If you have faith - then you believe that you have been justified by His blood.
If you have faith - then you believe that now that Jesus' blood has justified you, how much more are you saved from God's wrath.
If you have faith - then you will rejoice in God through the Lord Jesus Christ through Whom we have now been reconciled to God.
Revelation 22:13-15
King James Version (KJV)13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
If you cannot declare these truths and rejoice in them and KNOW THEM TO BE TRUE RIGHT NOW, TODAY, AND EVERY DAY - then you have no faith and you have no trust in God.
Who are you to judge? First take the mote out of your eye and work out your salvation:
Philippians 2:12by ADDING to your faith:
King James Version (KJV)12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
2 Peter 1:5-10
King James Version (KJV)5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
And stop counseling people to go against the Word of God by advising they follow the heretical teachings of the Protestants, such as faith alone:
James 2:24
King James Version (KJV)24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
Sincerely,
De Maria
