2 Tim 3:16-17 does not say anything about the need to stop oral teaching when the Bible is written. In fact, it says the opposite. It says the Bible is "profitable for teaching".

The emphais in the entire epistle of 2 Tim is oral teaching. Read the whole thing:
Chapter 1:
¹¹Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
¹²For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
¹³Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

Chapter 2:
2 Timothy 2

¹Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
²And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

Chapter 3, see above comment on verses 16-17.

Chapter 4:
2 Timothy 4

¹I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
²Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.



There is no mention in any of that epistle or throughout the Bible that the Church should ever stop oral teaching.

So what extra Biblical teachings that you call "tradition" do you feel are so important for the rest of us to hold to?

Extra Biblical? None. All Catholic doctrine is in Scripture explicitly taught or implied.

The difference between Catholic doctrine and Protestant doctrine, is that Protestants hold EXTRA BIBLICAL doctrines, such as this one of yours by which you claim that oral tradition is to cease. Scripture says nothing of the sort.

In fact, Scripture says that Scripture is PROFITABLE for passing on Oral Tradition. Remember, Jesus neither wrote one word of Scripture nor commanded the writing of Scripture. He commanded that His words be TAUGHT. He never said, "stop teaching when the Bible is written."
