Incorrect, catholic doctrine contradicts the Scripture.

Ephesians 3:10
To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

He gives us freewill to choose.
To choose to obey or disobey. Which brings us back to the Commandments:
Exodus 16:28
And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?

So, what happened to faith alone? God doesn't give anyone the option to simply CLAIM to have faith without proving it by their obedience.

Context context that's the point you are trying to make is not the context of the verse...
Sure it is. If it weren't, you would show what it is. But it is, therefore you simply make a claim and walk away.

[quoteYour really confused aren't you, you cannot merit anything. [/quote]

But you claim salvation by your faith alone. Therefore, you claim to merit salvation.

You took that out of context as well, besides Catholics don't follow the law anyway so your point is asinine.
But we don't deny it as you do. And in so doing, you deny Christ.

Again what's your point.
That Protestants save themselves by their faith ALONE.

We are not saved by works or some man-made hocus pocus magical ritual called a sacrament ( Which is really from Gnosticism)
No one said you were saved by works.

But Scripture says that if you don't keep the Commandments, God won't save you.

Sincerely,

De Maria
