Catholic Doctrine is in Scripture

Calvin:

Scripture doesn't say anything about Indulgences,
Matthew 6:20

King James Version (KJV)

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

purgatory
Matthew 18:32-34

King James Version (KJV)

32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:
33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

and praying for the dead..
Matthew 17:3

King James Version (KJV)

And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

....Jesus would not use these scriptures to teach these important RCC traditions?
He didn't need to. He taught them without the need to refer to those verses. But we can use them to confirm His Teachings.

In fact He never speaks of any such thing. why did He not teach it if the scriptures were there.
Good question. Are you insinuating that the entire Old Testament, including your 66 books, are not necessary any longer? Because they were also there.

Sincerely,

De Maria
