Go to Mass. Never neglect your duty towards God because of a mere football game.
Having said that, there are ways to merge the two. Back in the day when I cared about football, we used to hold pre-game Rosary parties. We'd agree to all go to early morning Mass, then we'd meet at someone's house and pray the Rosary at a scheduled time. Otherwise, it would be a normal friendly get together.
I guess that is a good formula for any football night.
Anyway, that's just one suggestion. Do you guys have any others?
