What must we do to be saved?

According to Scripture, we must do something to be saved.

Keep Commandments
Matthew 19:16-18

¹⁶And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
¹⁷And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

Revelation 22:14
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Forgive others

Matthew 6:15
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Fatherforgive your trespasses.

Add Virtue to Faith

2 Peter 1:5
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;....⁸For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.⁹But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
¹⁰Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

Avoid Sin

1 Corinthians 6:8-10

And many other things we must do besides, Baptism, Eucharist, etc.
