The arrogance of RCC posters here is a norm. They say that Scripture cant be understood and that it's not enough.

I have no idea what you are talking about. Scripture itself says that it can be misunderstood. Have you not read in Scripture:

2 Peter 3:16
King James Version (KJV)¹⁶ As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Scripture also says that one needs to be guided in learning Scripture:

Acts 8:30-35
King James Version (KJV)³⁰ And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?³¹ And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.³² The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:³³ In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.³⁴ And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?³⁵ Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
Scripture also says that Scripture is not enough to persuade some about the truth of Jesus Christ:

Acts 17

King James Version (KJV)1 Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews:² And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,³ Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ.⁴ And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few.⁵ But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people. 

 St. Paul reasoned with them from the Scripture, some believed, but some did not. Obviously, Scripture is not always enough.

Perspicuity of Scripture per the WCF vs the Word of God

It is strange how the Protestants claim that they follow Scripture.  Yet, their doctrines contradict Scripture directly.

For instance, the Westminister Confession of Faith (WCF) says:

CHAPTER I
OF THE HOLY SCRIPTURES
VII. All things in Scripture are not alike plain in themselves, nor alike clear unto all: yet those things which are necessary to be known, believed, and observed for salvation are so clearly propounded, and opened in some place of Scripture or other, that not only the learned, but the unlearned, in a due use of the ordinary means, may attain unto a sufficient understanding of them

Let's compare that to Scripture:

2 Peter 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

The WCF says that the unlearned will sufficiently understand all doctrines which are important unto salvation.

2 Pet 3:16 says that the unlearned will not understand and interpret them to their own destruction.  Presumably, unto eternal damnation.  Which means that the things which they misunderstood were important for their salvation.

That seems a clear contradiction.

Which do you believe? Scripture or the WCF?
