God is merciful

TOA June 8, 2013 at 5:05 pm
DeMaria,
I give up. You win. Good luck. I sincerely hope that you are able to do enough…and for the right motives.
God is merciful. I put my trust in Him:
Hebrews 6:9-11
King James Version (KJV)
9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
Thanks for the sentiment though. May the Lord also show mercy unto you on that day,
Sincerely,
De Maria

We depend and wait upon God's mercy

FH:No, you depend on your works, what YOU do, to be saved.
No. I depend upon God. I do the works which He commands from obedience:
James 1:22
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
Romans 2:13

King James Version (KJV)

13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

If you are under the law, you are not under grace....
Romans 13:8

King James Version (KJV)

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

God saves by grace through faith, NEVER through the law...
God justifies those who keep the Law and those who do not keep the Law are condemned.

For if righteousness comes through the law, Christ died in vain....Gal 2:26.
Romans 8

King James Version (KJV)

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Sincerely,

De Maria
