It makes me angry that the Democrats are keeping us from opening the economy back up. And one of the things they are doing to maintain a grip of fear on the country is forbidding the use of the hydroxychloroquin regimen that the President is using to prevent and cure COVID 19.
Its time to call your congressmen and tell them that we are adults and we can decide for ourselves if we want to take the risk of taking this drug which has been used for decades without ill effect.

It doesn't look like the "Nanny State" is going away anytime soon. In fact, it is here to stay. That is just something you have to accept. The democrats are taking over American and there will soon be a day when we are totally governed by there laws. They already have won the culture war. There are communist and LGBT youth all over the playground, can't run and hide.

Meantime, it seems as though people are realizing that the lockdown was bad for America. And though the Democrats are trying to keep it going, Americans are going to pay them back by voting them out of office.

DeleteIt is very pessimistic. I was born three years before the author and I lived through exactly the same era. He describes it as "Yet it turned into the decade of ferocious unrest, murder, and civil protest."
I remember the unrest and protest, because it was on television. But my actual life was barely affected by any of that, except as something to talk about with people interested in politics. The rest of the time, I went to school, played sports, went to parties and had a very happy upbringing. Then, I went to college and to work and continued having a very happy life. As it goes, even today, with all that is happening. COVID is probably the one thing in my entire life that has affected my entire family, but none of us have been infected. Simply the rules which have been set down by the government, such as social distancing and mask wearing, etc. The riots, although I heard that they occurred in and near the towns I live in and work in, have not affected my life, at all.

I didn't read it all. But I disagree with the introductory statements 100% and I believe that the entire article will likely be the same.
Look at it this way, America has been the jewel of the world since it was born. It has always been the most wonderful place to live. Even during the 60's and even now. And people have been trying to put America down all that time. God is protecting this country because the people of America are basically decent and righteous. The media has been opposing God's will and trying to bring America down for decades. But God will win in the end and America will continue to be God's country as long as we continue to trust in God.

I don't think that will ever happen. The radical fringe has been trying to impose their will on America. But the Silent Christian majority is beginning to let their weight be felt. The liberals wanted to open borders, but now that they are afraid for their lives, they have even closed the borders around their states. The liberals wanted to get rid of the second amendment, but when they thought a food shortage was iminent due to the CV-19, they the first in line to buy guns and the gun industry had an unforeseen boom. 1. The anti-police people in what they are calling the Chaz, abolished the police. Then, as their first order of business, established their own police force.
2. These same liberals are also anti-gun and especially, anti-assault weapon. Their next order of business, arm their police force with guns and assault weapons.
3. These same people call themselves anti-racism. Their next order of business, establish segregate gardens for blacks, natives and whites. In other words, segregate by race.
4. These anti-capitalists are trying to raise money for their cause. Guess who they are asking for donations? Capitalists.
Rest easy. They won't last.
They got Biden and Kamala Harris into office and the radical left is becoming mainstream with all the BLM protests. I am disgusted with the way culture has become. We get the government we deserve. It is doubtful that the Supreme Court can rule much in Trump's fasvor either.

If you are not in line with what the nanny government wants you to think, you'll be given a "more potent" vaccine and denied access to basic medical care and other basic rights we have.
The end goal is obvious: to create institutionalized segregation of the vaccinated from the unvaccinated. Welcome to Nazi Germany. Sometimes we have to laugh though because if we don't we will go insane.
